OverDrive Ebooks & Audiobooks
Madison County Library users can access ebooks and digital audiobooks and magazines to read on a mobile, tablet, or computer.
- Visit the Blue Ridge Download Consortium (BRDC) to download ebooks and digital audiobooks and magazines from our catalog through Libby from Overdrive. Books are available for 14 days before return or renewal.
- On a mobile device, download the Libby app and choose the Madison County Library as your library to gain access to digital audiobooks, ebooks, and digital magazines. Get help with the Blue Ridge Download Consortium collections.
- Please note: you will be prompted for a PIN when using the Blue Ridge Download Consortium, please use the last four digits of your Madison County Library card.
Virginia Writes
With the Indie Author Project, provided by the Library of Virginia, anyone in Virginia can share their writing through the Indie Virgina collection. If you are just getting started, you can use Pressbooks Plus to create your eBook and then upload it to Indie Virginia. For authors who already have their eBook created, you can simply submit it to Indie Virginia.
Readers can also browse a collection of great self-published content from authors across the Commonwealth either with the BiblioBoard website or using the BiblioBoard app for iOS or Android devices. Find more information and get started at Virginia Writes.
