FOL PRESENTS TUNES & TALES
The Madison Friends of the Library will present “Tunes and Tales,” its annual benefit chili dinner with entertainment on Friday, March 17, at 5:30 pm at Madison Presbyterian Church. Tickets are $20 for adults and $8 for children ages 12 and under, and can be purchased in advance at the Madison County Library. Tickets may be available at the event as space permits. Madison Presbyterian Church is located at 1236 Fishback Road. The dinner will include meat and vegetarian chili, hot dogs, pinto beans, cornbread muffins, and cookies.
Entertainment for the evening will include the Smokin’ Trout Band, a musical group that plays a mix of folk, bluegrass, rock, blues, and country. Jonah Clatterbuck will play the piano and soloist Jeanne Bruton, who sings with the Greene County Singers and Madison Choral Society, will also perform. The Madison Jazz Band, featuring students from Madison County High School and William Wetsel Middle School, will perform as well as students from the high school’s award-winning forensics team.
